Light equipment and tableware supplier Neville UK has been appointed as the sole distributor of German professional knife manufacturer Giesser.
The Kent-based outfit will be distributing three ranges of Giesser Knives: BestCut (a premium forged handle blade), PrimeLine (a texturized rubber handle blade) and Professional Chef (an ergonomic rubber thermoplastic handle blade).
Managing Director, Andrew Neville, said the products would be available to distributors from October. “Their quality and heritage will certainly be a welcome addition to our existing range of professional chef knives and we welcome the joint cooperation of our two companies,” he said.
Nevilles says that prior to introducing Giesser to the UK market, it arranged for the knives to be tested by the Craft Guild of Chefs to prove they are of high quality and fit for purpose.
Giesser manufactures its knives at its headquarters in Southern Germany, combining the use of modern industrial automation with traditional handcraft skills.
